    Welcome  to  Chisholm Cattle Company, LLC, Wimberley, Texas.  We produce Red Wagyu and Black Wagyu bulls, heifers, semen, and embryos .  We are one of a select few breeders of Red Wagyu cattle in the U.S., which are particularly well suited for tropical climates.   We also supply natural Angus and Wagyu beef to Austin, San Antonio, and throughout Central and South Central Texas.   We are pleased to be a part of the growing movement that is offering high quality beef to local families.

    

    Wagyu is the Japanese breed that made Kobe beef famous.  Considered a national treasure in Japan, Wagyu cattle produce the world’s best tasting beef and the most healthful, too!   When crossed with other breeds, Wagyu will increase marbling and tenderness and they provide exceptional calving ease.  We have selected our genetics from top bloodlines including Sanjiro, Shigeshigetani, and Itoshigenami 148.


    To give our cattle the utmost care and individual attention, we limit the size of our operation.  This allows us to maintain very low stocking rates, which helps protect our precious natural environment and the wildlife with whom we share our land.  If you’re looking for delicious local beef or seed stock to start your own herd, we can help.  Contact us for more information.
